Tomoharu Hirayama

Mr. Hirayama joined Bain Capital in 2021. He is an Operating Partner in the Portfolio Group and a member of the Asian Pacific Private Equity team.

Prior to joining Bain Capital, Mr. Hirayama worked at McKinsey & Company in Tokyo office as a Partner mainly for retail industry on wide range of topics such as company-wide transformation, mid-term strategy development, customer engagement, data driven management and store operation. He was also a leader of McKinsey Analytics in Japan, leading the launch of QuantumBlack Tokyo office and having deep expertise on data and analytics driven transformation. Prior to joining McKinsey & Company, he worked as a marketing planner and account executive for Dentsu.
